- 1 / 5By Stephen RuddickWarning to 417 WHV holders - these guys are dodgy - they get backpackers to work for them for free (with the idea being to have this work qualify towards the 100 days of farm work required to extend working holiday visas). Unfortunately the duties they get them to perform (such as minding the shop and making jams) are not actually considered 'primary production' (a.k.a. farm work) and therefore cannot be used towards the visa extension process. So basically they get people to work for them for free by being misleading....May 14, 2017
